Happy 80th Birthday Ingeborg Krabbe

Ingeborg Krabbe was born in Leipzig, Germany on June 13, 1931. In 1949 she attended the State Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Leipzig taking drama and singing lessons. Here she also made her stage debut in "Die Pfeffermühle". She then moved to East Berlin and continued to act on stage and began making film appearances in DEFA and DFF films. She also appeared on TV in the series "Tele-BZ". She was chosen several times as a TV favorite in polls conducted by newspapers and television. Ingeborg has appeared in everything from dramatic roles to comedy. She was a guest star on the popular "Police 110" as well as having roles on "Ein offenes Haus" and "Mit Herz und Robe" among her more then 300 TV appearances. In later years she has turned to radio and voice dubbing. In 2011 she toured in a stage adaptation of "Arsenic and Old Lace". Her only Euro-western appearance was in 1972's "Tecumseh" with Gojko Mitic. Today we celebrate Ingeborg Krabbe’s 80th birthday.
