Jack and Mark, two students of animal husbandry, looking for a holiday adventure and to earn some money, take jobs as "cowboys" on a local cattle ranch. Instead of the expected romantic adventures and masculine, hard life, their life is filled with overwhelming boredom. Only when Jack gets a stallion ‘Szagi’, things take a different turn. Gifted gaining confidence, swagger in a nearby bar while seducing Valentina, the girlfriend of a boss of smugglers and Agnes - a member of a geological expedition. The second girl is also attracted to Mark. Between the colleagues competition begins, ending with Jack's statement that Agnes is only hit on "for sport." Jack’s buffoonery and cynicism strains their friendship over her attention. Meanwhile, the head of the smugglers wants revenge for the seduction of Valentina. The two students and criminals face each other in a showdown. The smugglers are caught by the police, and the friendship between Jack and Mark is restored.
