Montgomery Brown, a veteran officer of the Civil War, finds his hometown at the mercy of two fierce Mexicans father and son. His assets have been requisitioned and his wife, Hally, for the sake of their daughter, is about to marry the youngest of the usurpers. Montgomery pretends to be a peon because he wants to prepare his revenge. Everything happens during the wedding ceremony, with the help of a few trusted friends.
