Marshal Slim Farrel under the disguise as the gunslinger Ringo arrives in a village on the border between Mexico and the United States to shed light on the disappearance of his brother. Ringo is soon hired by the landowner, Don Juan. Meanwhile, the village is ravaged by a string of murders by poisoning and it does not take Slim long to discover that among the victims is his brother Mike. The subsequent investigation leads Slim to identify two women - Pilar, daughter of Don Juan, and the crazy girl's mother as the instigators of the crimes. Clearing up the mystery and bringing justice to the village, Ringo and Slim then ride off.

[This strange film is highlighted by the disappearance of the main star Mickey Hargitay after the first 20 minutes of the film. Mickey had received word from the U.S. that his son Zoltan had been mauled by a lion while doing a promotional shoot with his wife Jayne Mansfield at Jungle Land Animal Park in Thousand Oaks, California. Mickey tried to contact the producers but when they were not immediately available he took the next flight for Los Angeles. The producers in order to finish the film had to bring in Jean Louis and rewrite the story line to explain the disappearance of the lead actor. Mickey was later sued for $10,000 for abandoning the film and his contract.]
