Happy 50th Birthday Oilivier Baroux


Olivier Baroux was born Olivier Marie on January 5, 1964 in Caen, Calvados, France. He began his career as an announcer on free radio Caen (Adel radio) then Caen FM. He spent  five years, specializing in major events on the Normandy radio "RVS" (Radio Seine Valley ) where he hosted the show ‘Self-service’.
 
In 1991, he joined "Hearsay FM" Paris rock radio, where he met Kad Merad. On March 12, 1992, the duo began to air their own show: Rock'n'roll circus. Then they started on television, helped by Jean -Luc Delarue.
 
They then aired on the cable channel "Comedy!" Between 1999 and 2001, ‘The Big Issue’. Olivier made ​​a few solo appearances in movies but his career really began with the film he co-wrote with Kad: “But Who Killed Pamela Rose”, a film directed in 2003 by Eric Lartey?.
 
In 2005, he played the genie in “Iznogoud” directed by Patrick Braoudé, a cartoon character of René Goscinny and Jean Tabary.
 
In 2006 he appeared in the Euro-western “Big City” as the sheriff.
 
In 2007, he directed his first film “Ce soir je dors chez toi” with the comic Jean Dupuy-Berberian.
 
In 2010, he appears in the clip entitled “Diam's Peter Pan”.
